Homemade low fat bolognese sauce from scratch

By Maria Tikka ANutr, MMedSci

Adding bolognese sauce magically turns every food into a masterpiece! I love it so much I’ve spent years trying to make a low energy version while keeping its devine taste.

You can use it to make spaghetti bolognese, greek moussaka, pastitsio (greek lasagna) and more mince beef-based recipes. If you follow a low carb diet, you will love it as a filling in stuffed vegetables! You can also replace onions with scallions for a more keto-friendly version. The recipe is added salt-free like most of my recipes.

You can also try it with mince turkey or chicken instead of beef.
